About

The FEM.GREEN toolbox is a curated set of methodologies aimed at empowering local communities and enhancing the practices of professionals working in urban transformation. These tools have been identified as essential for ensuring a gender-inclusive and climate-just transition in cities. They serve a dual purpose:

  • To foster the empowerment of local communities through participatory and inclusive processes.
  • To provide professionals with effective methodologies for designing, facilitating, and implementing urban strategies aligned with feminist and ecological values.

Structured across two core phases—analyse and assess and empower and decide—the toolbox enables users to engage with urban transitions in a way that is both strategic and rooted in social justice.
